Things have improved for landlords in the rental market.
Currently there are 5868 rentals on Trademe, which is up 59% from a year ago
We are now just below the record high availability of 6435 properties seen in May 2022.

Things have changed quickly and substantially. Over the past 4 months rentals available have increased by around 65%.
Things have settled down over the past 4 months. Currently rental stock in Auckland is just slightly higher than at the same time last year.

Ouch Ouch Ouch.... I think we can safely say there has never been more properties available to rent in Auckland. Certainly since our records began 8 years ago!
